Safety Screening

There are several Safety Screening checks required for all Brophy employees to meet our service and legislative standards. These include the NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children’s Check and COVID19 Vaccination Certificate.

NDIS Worker Screening Check

As Brophy Family and Youth Services is a Registered NDIS Provider, all workers are now required to have clearance through an NDIS Worker Screening Check.  

This check will cost you $121.10 to obtain, but when your WWC is due to expire and you renew this, we will provide you with the details to have the cost of your WWC reimbursed. You will be able to claim the cost of this on your tax return as a work-based requirement.

This check is not required to be completed prior to applying for a role with Brophy.

Working With Children Check (WWC)

To commence employment with Brophy you must hold a valid Victorian  Employee WWC. You will need to update your WWC if you hold a Volunteer check.

COVID19

In accordance with the direction of the Chief Health Officer (as per Clause 30 of the COVID19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions) all employees of Brophy must be fully vaccinated against COVID19, unless they have been granted a medical exemption by an authorised medical practitioner.  We ask for proof of your COVID19 Vaccination Certificate in the application process.
