Tasty Plate farewells popular long-term participant
TASTY Plate is farewelling one of its most familiar faces.
Long-term participant Xavier Darcy, who is moving to Barwon Heads with his family, will shift into employment at a cafe in the Surf Coast hamlet.
Realise Enterprises executive manager Maree Wyse said Xavier would be sorely missed.
“Xavier has been a highly-valued member of the team at Tasty Plate for more than 9 years, and his friendly approach to customer service will be missed,” Maree said.
“Xavier has already started in a new cafe in Barwon Heads, where he is currently undertaking kitchen hand duties. He is looking forward to being able to display his wide range of commercial cooking and front of house skills in the new job, and we wish him all the best in this new part of his life journey.”
Xavier said he’d loved his time at Tasty Plate and had watched it grow since he started with the program in 2013.
Brophy chief executive Francis Broekman said Xavier was a popular and enthusiastic participant in the Tasty Plate program.
All the best with what the future holds, Xavier!
