Brophy’s Home-Based Care (Kinship and Foster Care) Support Group service offers monthly support groups for Kinship and Foster Carers to share experiences and connect with other carers in a safe and supportive environment.
Groups are held in Warrnambool and Portland.
Caring for a child can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also come with challenges. Having the right support around you can be vital. These sessions provide an opportunity for carers to connect with other families in similar situations, share insights and experiences, and receive guidance from one of our Home-Based Care Support Workers.
The support group is open to all Kinship and Foster Carers, including those who are not currently receiving formal services. Brophy is here to support carers every step of the way.
