About the Role:

We’re looking for a Strategic Advisor to help shape our future and ensure we continue making a real difference where it matters most.

In this exciting full time fixed term position, you’ll lead the development of our 2025–28 Strategic Plan, working closely with the Board, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team to align our goals with our mission, vision, and values. You’ll also take the lead on key cross-organisational projects, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within scope, and leave a lasting positive impact.

This role is also about people. You’ll support our leaders in navigating change, helping build adaptability and resilience so our workforce can thrive during times of transformation.

A full list of key duties is outlined in the Position Description, but includes responsibilities in:

  • Lead the organisational strategic planning process, ensuring place-based, evidence-informed, and global approaches that address the key environment scan challenges and reflect the needs of Southwest Victoria.
  • Identify and develop a series of Strategic Plan Initiatives designed to promote the fulfilment of the Vision and Mission and strategic vision.
  • Commence implementation of those projects to test, pilot to determine the veracity of the strategic direction

Do your skills include:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading organisational change and strategic project delivery in a complex environment.
  • Proficiency in collaborating with diverse teams to build high-performance cultures. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on innovation and evidence-based practices. 
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate strategic plans and initiatives. 

Are your credentials:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health, Social Work, Community Development, or Business/Management are mandatory.
  • Experience and or qualifications in Project Management, Change Management are desirable. 
  • A current Drivers Licence.
