Expression of Interest – Allied Health Practitioner (Contractor)

Brophy Family & Youth Services is seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced allied health professionals to join the multidisciplinary team at headspace Warrnambool, Portland and Hamilton. As the lead agency, we provide integrated, comprehensive health care to young people aged 12–25, with a focus on mental health and substance use challenges.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a client-centered model of care by delivering psychological therapy services to young people referred under GP Mental Health Treatment Plans. As a contractor, you’ll help achieve positive outcomes for young people across south-west Victoria in a supportive and professional environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant qualifications and professional registration. Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Nurses and Mental Health Social Workers are encouraged to apply.
  • Recognition by Medicare to provide focused psychological strategies under the Better Access initiative.
  • Current Medicare provider number.
  • Valid Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and NDIS Check (to be maintained throughout the agreement).
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) in line with professional body requirements.
  • Ability to provide in-person sessions with young people from one of our headspace sites in Warrnambool, Portland and Hamilton.
