Funky Hair for Kids in Care is all about supporting children living in Foster, Kinship and Residential Care!
Brophy is asking schools, workplaces and community groups to whip up their funkiest, most fun hairstyle throughout the month of October and donate a gold coin to help kids in care stay connected to their schools, hobbies and culture.
Almost 500 kids need a safe and loving home in Foster Care each and every night across our region. Hundreds more are living in Kinship Care, with people who are known to them – some without any support. Brophy can help!
Funky Hair for Kids in Care is all about raising awareness – that we need more Foster Carers and that there is support available for Kinship Carers and those living in Residential Care.
To take part, simply register your school or workplace and crank up the funky ‘dos through October and November!
