Safety Screening
There are several Safety Screening checks required for all Brophy employees to meet our service and legislative standards. These include a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children’s Check, Employment History Disclosure and Carer Registration Checks for Residential Care Workers.
National Police Check
All successful applicants will need to apply for a National Police Check prior to commencing in their role. Brophy will provide all details on this check at Onboarding. Brophy will pay for this check to be completed. We are unable to accept checks already completed due to our service standard requirements.
NDIS Worker Screening Check
As Brophy Family and Youth Services is a Registered NDIS Provider, all workers are now required to have clearance through an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
This check will be of a cost to the new worker to obtain however is not required to be completed prior to applying for a role with Brophy, all successful applicants will be provided with application information at Onboarding.
If you already hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check, please provide this information in the relevant section of your application form.
Working With Children Check (WWC)
To commence employment with Brophy you must hold a valid Victorian Employee WWC. You will need to update your WWC if you hold a Volunteer check.
