About the Role

As our Receptionist/Administration Officer at our headspace Hamilton centre, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional, youth-friendly service to young people, staff and visitors, while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for managing client records, appointments and payments, and for supporting the Operations Manager to ensure a welcoming, efficient and well-organised environment.

This role suits a motivated, detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a dynamic setting. At times, the centre can be fast-paced, requiring you to balance competing priorities with confidence and professionalism. At other times, it’s quieter and you’ll bring initiative, self-direction and a proactive approach, supporting leadership and the broader team wherever needed.

If you’re looking for a varied role where you can make a genuine impact in a supportive, purpose-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Do your skills include:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide high standard reception and administrative support.
  • Experience using client management systems in a health setting (such as Best Practice).
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate warmly and effectively with a variety of people including a youth-friendly approach.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a broader team.

Are your credentials:

  • A minimum qualification of a relevant Certificate III or higher in Administration (Medical) and/or experience in working in a similar role.
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) Certificate (desirable).
