The annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign runs from 25 November to 10 December and there are a number of local events, walks and webinars taking place across the south-west. Brophy is a proud partner of Respect 2040 and is encouraging the south-west to get involved.

Walk against family violence down Liebig Street, followed by a screening of It Starts With Us, featuring Jen Cloher and narrated by Rosie Batty.

Includes guest speakers, a free sausage sizzle, and support from Victoria Police, WDHS and Southern Grampians Shire. Wear purple or orange.

Host: Sexual Assault Family Violence Centre
Location: GMHBA Stadium, Moorabool St, South Geelong
A morning of collective conversation covering challenging gender norms, strengthening community connection and positive masculinity.

A ticketed professional development forum focused on Aboriginal family violence prevention and response.
