Are you or do you know someone experiencing child-to-parent violence?

Brophy’s Who’s In Charge? (WIC) is a free 8-week program designed for parents and carers of children aged 8-18 who are being abusive, violent, or appear out of control.

Is this program for you or someone you know?

  • Does your child hurt, intimidate, or abuse you?
  • Do you feel like you are losing control?
  • Do you want to handle conflict better?
  • Do you feel like nothing changes, no matter how hard you try?
  • Are you struggling to understand your child’s behaviors?

How Who’s In Charge can support

This program aims to:

✔ Nurture a supportive environment
✔ Provide a space to share experiences and ideas
✔ Help clarify boundaries and identify acceptable behavior
✔ Reduce feelings of isolation, shame, and guilt
✔ Support parents in managing their child’s behavior
✔ Increase safety, wellbeing, and sense of control
✔ Help parents feel less stressed and more empowered

WIC provides a supportive space to help parents and carers regain control, improve wellbeing, and find practical solutions for families.
