The Warrnambool community are invited to come together for a Candlelight Vigil to remember and honour the lives of women and children lost to family and domestic violence.

The vigil will be held on Wednesday 6 May, providing a space for reflection, remembrance, and connection.

The event will include the sharing of stories of resilience, helping to acknowledge the real people behind the statistics while also fostering hope and a collective commitment to change.

This is an opportunity for the community to stand together in solidarity, support those impacted by family violence, and reinforce the importance of creating safer communities for everyone.

Date: Wednesday 6 May 2026
Time: 5:45pm – 6:45pm
Location: Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative, 24 Hopkins Road, Warrnambool
