Easter is a time for joy, family, and—of course—chocolate. But for children living in care, these small traditions can mean even more. That’s why Brophy is running an Easter Egg Drive, making sure every child in care gets a visit from the Easter Bunny in 2025.

Right now, more than 400 children across the south-west need a safe and loving home every night. While chocolate can bring a smile, what they truly need is care, stability, and the support of a carer who can provide a nurturing home. If you’ve ever thought about becoming a foster carer, now is the time—we desperately need people to open their homes and hearts.

How you can help

We’re calling on our community to donate Easter eggs and chocolate to help bring some extra joy this Easter. Donations can be dropped off at:

Brophy Community & Youth Complex
210 Timor Street, Warrnambool

We’re accepting donations until April 2, so if you can spare an Easter egg or two, it will go a long way toward making this Easter special for a child in care.

Want to make a bigger difference? If you’re interested in learning more about becoming a foster carer, we’d love to chat. Visit our website or get in touch to find out how you can change a child’s life.

Thank you for your generosity—together, we can make Easter a little sweeter for the kids who need it most.
