Supporting young people involved in the youth justice system to work towards their individual goals in housing, education, employment, life skills, and social and emotional wellbeing with the aim of reducing recidivism.

Youth Justice Community Support Services (YJCSS)

Intensive case management support to assist young people to successfully complete their court orders, reduce their likelihood of reoffending and establish positive linkages with the broader community.

YJCSS can support young people in areas such as housing, education/training, referrals to specialist services, family mediation, recreation, material aid, and to develop their social and independent living skills.

Youth Justice Group Conferencing (YJGC)

A program based on restorative justice principles that provides a community rehabilitation intervention to the Children’s Court, with the aim of diverting a young person from more intensive supervisory court outcomes.

It uses a problem-solving approach to offending that facilitates dialogue between individuals who have offended, their victims and the wider community.
