Quality Accreditation

Brophy Family and Youth Services is committed to a culture of continuous quality improvement which ensures quality services are delivered to our clients and stakeholders.

We are accredited through Quality Innovation Performance on a 3 year accreditation cycle under the following sets of standards:

Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) - Full accreditation in July 2013

Department of Health and Human Services: Human Services Standards - Full Accreditation in March 2015, achieving an exceed in the area of Responsive Service Integration and Referral.

Quality Improvement Council: Health and Community Services Standards - Full Accreditation in March 2015, achieving 3 exceeds in the areas of: Management Systems, Service Coordination and Community and Professional Capacity Building.

At the 2013 accreditation the surveyors noted:

“BFYS is a client focussed organisation embedded within its community. It’s commitment to its clients is reflected at all levels including the numerous opportunities clients have to have their voice heard in the way service and programs are delivered.”

“The organisation has a strong and visible presence within the south west and is involved in many local and region wide partnerships to strengthen and support its community and individuals living in it. In addition it supports local initiatives including the social enterprise Tasty Plate.”
